Zanussi Cooker Hood Active Carbon Filter for ZH6010W Stock Number: ES1066276
Genuine spare part for select models of Zanussi, Electrolux and AEG cooker hoods
When the cooker hood is in the recirculation mode should a charcoal filter also be fitted on top of the grease filter even if a carbon hood filter is already in place? 1 Answer

using a carbon filter will help reduce smells when recirculating the air on a cooker hood.

You will have to open the hood by removing the grill in a similar way to that shown in the video. Inside you will see the motor assembly with the carbon filters fitted on either side (unless it vents outside and they are not fitted). To remove the filters you normally rotate them to unlatch and lift off.
i have been told to pull the clips over on either side and the top should come over and makeing acess but it dosn't come over at all i have had this hood for about 10years
- On mine theres a disc in the middle of the filter you just unscrew, replace with new 1 & rescrew in the disc
how do i get to and remove the old charcoal filters to replace them on electrolux efc60001K cooker hood 1 Answer
- Slide in tabs each side to drop down cooker hood, hinged at back, with fabric filter fitted underneath. The carbon filter is exposed and is situated in the centre of the hood. Turn the round plastic centre anti clockwise to release the old filter. Do the same in reverse to fit the new filter.
My electrolux EFI 625 has stopped working, do I need to change the carbon filter or is it just the grease filter & bulbs i need to change? 1 Answer
