I guessed that the carbon brushes had worn out due to the noise. I then had a fault code on my 12 year old Siemens machine which backed it up. I watched the excellent video on espares how to replace them so I did! Machine works fine! The fault code needs resetting for the machine to work which I found out how to do on YouTube. Maybe incorporate that on your informative videos.

fault code F21 motor fix 07 June 2021

Great. Got fault code F:21 on +10yrs old Bosch Classixx 6 1400 washing machine. Checked Brushes & found to be well worn. Parts arrived quickly & fitted - took photos as I removed brushes to remember direction. Had to reset fault code afterwards... all working now.

I just change both carbon brushes and naw the washing machine making noise, so I open the mashine again to check if I didn't put them wrong way and one of the brush came of from the vires bit, so do I have to replace it again or can I use the washing machine like this. It is working just making that noise.

If the brushes have come off the wire in the spring they will need replacing as it is likely to damage the motor or board.

The connectors to washing machine motors will usually have latching claws to prevent the plug being shaken loose on the spin cycle. To remove locate and press the claw to release the plug.

I have Bosh Clasixx dryer. When started it makes humming noise and do not turn the drum. When I rotate the drum with hand then it starts rotating. But when it changes direction it again do not rotate and makes humming noise and starts rotating when helped. Do you think its motor carbon brushes are worn out?

Tumble dryer motors generally do not have brushes but do have a capacitor that when it fails will give this type of problem. Check and replace this if required.
