My problem is when I switch them on, they both will come on and heat up, but after a minute or so go back off again for another 30 seconds or so and then start heating up again. So the temperaure on each ring does not seem to be regulated. Would my problem be the regulators and if so, is there a different regulator for the single ring and another regulator for the double ring. If this is the case, do you have them in stock and what would your best price best. Many thanks for your assistance.

It is normal for a ceramic hob to 'cycle' the heat to the rings to prevent overheating and damaging the glass hob top. This is especially noticeable if the rings have halogen elements. If you have moved house or 'acquired' this hob top and are not already familiar with its operation there may be no fault. If these rings are the same type as others that behave differently on the hob then the controls may be faulty.
