    freezer compartment door

Our door catch was broken and I was surprised I could get a new one ,due to the age of the fridge. The new one arrived in three days and it took approximately five minutes to fit.

We are sorry but we do not have fitting information on this part. Generally if the brackets that the door is hinged from do not unscrew to remove the door it may be possible to use a flat blade like a paint scraper to carefully lever open and lift off the old door. Then fit on one hinge and prise open to slip the other pivot into position.

Answer this question

The reason I ask is that the handle has pulled off the existing door (frankly its a pretty weak and rubbish mechanism) And we will probably buy one but only if you can confirm what it is. Thanks
