Oven Cooling Fan

The fan is an essential part within your oven, as this is what will distribute the hot air around the inside of your oven. If you find that this is not happening in your oven, it could be due to a faulty fan.

eSpares has this replacement fan, that could soon be fitted in your oven, so you could soon be back having  the air circulated correctly again in no time.

This replacement fan is a genuine spare part. It will fit select models of AEG, Blanco, Electrolux, Firenzi, John Lewis, Moffatt, Parkinson Cowan, Tricity Bendix and Zanussi ovens.

Please view the model fit list prior to purchasing to ensure the spare is compatible with your appliance.

Assume stock no ES556524 is correct for the oven cooling fan. Assume stock no ES217242 is correct for the fan oven kit. I have not taken the double oven to bits but assume the oven cooling fan is common to the top and bottom oven ?

Hi there. The cooling fan is situated above the top oven - you'll first need to remove the top panel from the cooker to get to the fan. This might involve removing other panels too. Once you've got the top panel off, you should be able to see how the fan is affixed to the cooker. You can then remove any screws or clips remove the old fan.

Answer this question

I replaced the oven fan but found it was this unit faulty, it is making a lot of noise and i have determined that it is the bearing in the rubber cap on the end of the barrel, I have stopped it temporarily by packing it with vaseline, however that will not last, is there a replacement bearing available?

The cooling fan is a complete spare and one part of it cannot be bought seperately unfortunately.
