I have checked that ES539651 is compatible with my oven B1422N0GB/03. Do you please have any idiot-proof instructions - preferably text rather than video - that would tell me how to it? Many thanks
We have now updated the video for this part.
This lamp assembly is simply pushed through the oven wall where spring tabs then hold it in position and prevent it from being removed. We have recently videos a repair of this type but are currently awaiting it to be edited, it may be a few weeks before it is available.
You may need to reset the electrical system of your oven, according to your user manual. It may also be the PCB or wider electrical issues.
My double oven has a large lamp in the main oven and a smaller one in the top oven. I need to know which size this part is.
Sorry, but we have not been provided with any dimensions from the manufacturer. The parts listed on our website are all model and serial number dependant (apart from universal parts). In order for us to locate the correct spares for your appliance we would need the model information. Without this we cannot guarantee that the part ordered will be the correct one for your appliance. It can be difficult to release the tabs from the inside and may cause damage, the easier way is to take out the oven.
On the right side of the silver part on the image you can just make out a wedge shape flap. You need to push this and te one on the other side in towards the lamp to allow its edge to go through the hole in the same way as shown in the video.
Will this part fit my appliance?

Our oven is getting on a bit but the ability to order spares for it is a great way to keep it going. The lamp assembly was a great fit, although in the end I got someone to fit it as I wasn't confident messing around in the oven's innards.
