It is a sealed metal tub. The front and top panels can come off, with a back access panel. The spider can be seen through the back panel- it is on the outside of the tub. The drive wheel is on top of this, but doesn't seem to come off. Any advice?

The bearing spider Stock Number: ES1636094 can be removed from the back of the tub and replaced without dismantling the tub.

Bosch WFF1201
- Not as difficult as some......remove the top and back casings. Loosen the motor bracket. Remove the drive belt. Undo the bolts holding the spider to the drum. Ease the spider out (it takes time & patience.......) then punch out the bearings, carefully - check a couple of the espares videos on how best to do this, they are very thorough. Fit your new bearings (again - the espares videos are very good on this). Refit the spider/drive belt/motor bolt/etc. The REALLY good news is that you do not need to remove the drum from the machine - the two bearings are both within the spider. Good Luck!
