I have a halogen hob on a belling format cooker are these regulators the same for normally hobs and halogen ??? 1 Answer

I have now bought three of these and they are either on or off. no thermostatic control.WHY 1 Answer

These controllers regulate the heat by cycling on and off, so for half heat the control will be fully on for half the time. The control has a small heating element inside that heats a bimetal strip to open the switch. If the neutral is not connected to the control then this would not heat and cut the control off.
hi does this control the temperature from 0-6 on the knob as my current one used to graduate the temperature now it is either all on or off, no variation in temperature? thanks 1 Answer
