Hello there, this pipe is indeed the one you've described - although its diameter a quarter of an inch rather than 5/16".
- No, but you can re-use the existing fittings, if you still have them. The freezer end is a compression nut that traps the pipe, cut the end off the old pipe to free it. The water pipe end is a quick release fitting. Push the old pipe into the fitting and hold the little collar down to release it.
