To get the most out of your foods no matter it being meat, fish or veg searing first is known to enhance the flavours. Using the 460012 this is achieved by using the aluminium bowl, the 3.5 litre can be used to first sear, colour and release the flavours before putting into the body where the slow cooking process can begin.

The sear and stew has three heat settings giving you some control over the temperature giving you the ability to cook your meals quicker or slower. The toughened glass lid is designed to withstand the prolonged heat and can both the lid and bowl are dishwasher safe making clean up extremely easier giving you more time to relax.
