Well, look no further than the Assam Tea Press from Bodum, which allows you observe the brewing process and stop it when you feel it is at the level to which you find is perfect for you. It offers a o.5 litre capacity, and is made from borosilicate glass, which is a natural material that does not stain - and does not affect the taste of the tea.
The system used for this Assam Tea Press is the same system used for the French Press - allowing you full control of the tea steeping process. When you are at the point where you have achieved your preferred colouring and strength, all you need to do is simply press down on the silicone plunger and seal the tea leaves at the bottom part of the stainless steel filter.
The Assam Tea Press works great with fruit teas and black tea, as it interrupts the brewing process to avoid any bitterness.
