is this easy to tune to TV? Do we need the original remote controller? I ask because my mother lives in a care home and the original remote is not in her room. She has a simplified control, on which she does not need to use buttons which seems a good idea, but she is now finding this difficult. We think she would manage better with large buttons.

re R Henderson's question: The volume control signal on your old remote does not send a 'burst' but sends continuously to keep stepping up or down. Try the same method but press only for a few seconds on the old remote so the signal stops.
- I programmed all the channel buttons easy, but how do you programme the rocker volume control switch

Hi, the sending and receiving buttons are the ones that you wish to clone. For example, if you wanted to clone channel one to the new remote, you'd press 1 on the learning remote and then press 1 on the old remote you're cloning from. Simply repeat this for each button as required.

We do not think this is possible, on this remote.
Can each number button be programmed to match the number on original remote so you could input a double digit channel? 1 Answer
