We believe there is a small Allan key type grub screw that fixed the fan on the motor spindle.
I should think it must be quite noisy when the fan is working.

This will work on any hot flat surface so would work on a cooker hotplate or a hot surface on the heater.
Does this fit hunter wood burners and if so where do you put it. Behind burner on the outside? 1 Answer
