    Perfect, simple to fit 11 February 2022

    Easy to fit, good quality, unscrew old and fit new one, you'll need a special screwhead, check your existing broken handle screw first.

bosch tumble dryer handle 2 Answers

I've ordred a compatabal handle, for my bosch tumble dryer, but cannot see any way of getting the door open (to get at the torx-head screws), how do I do this? NB: the door will not open simply by pulling it

  • I used a plastic tyre lever. The door opened at the first attempt and was so easy that it was only at my wife's insistence that I ordered a new door handle! By Steve Sordy - Grantham - 20 February 2020

    There is no lock on any door that does not have a moving part to unlock it. The catch used on Bosch machines can be difficult but will just pull open. You could try to just carefully prise open using a large flat blade taking care not to damage the door or paintwork.

    The handle comes on its own, you will need to use the original screw when replacing the door handle.

Mis-sold item and I can't get a refund
I purchased a product that was advertised as in stock with a next day delivery service. This was false information. After I had paid and the delivery date had elapsed I had to contact the company who informed me that the items was not in stock and they could not offer next day delivery. I asked for a refund for the item and the delivery. and their response was "Although we will try our best to get the order cancelled there is a small chance it may still get dispatched, in which case we will provide a pre-paid label so you can send the item back to us free of charge." I am still chasing my refund.

Slightly disappointed
The fridge bottle shelf I'd ordered came very quickly but, when it arrived, I found a dark "scuff" mark on the front. I didn't have time to send it back and get a replacement so had to install it immediately and hope that the mark would come out later with a bit of Jif or similar. Disappointed, as I feel that whoever despatched it should have noticed the mark and sent me a different one.

Hundreds of pounds saved!
The element had gone on my 15 year old cooker and I anticipated having to pay hundreds to buy a new one. However my lovely neighbour said if I got a new element from eSpares he would fit it.
