Motors overheat if there is reduced air flow to cool it. This can be caused by blocked hoses, filters or bags not replaced often enough. We are unaware of a deisgn problem causing premature motor failure.
The original cleaner is rated as 1900W maximum 2200Watt. What is the power rating of this replacement motor? 1 Answer

This is an original motor and the power used will depend on the applied supply voltage ie 2200 watts using a 240 volt supply.
