How do you replace this part? We have unscrewed the 2 screws but the middle is still clipped in and we can't get it out? 2 Answers
Dyson DC44 Animal - rear soleplate service assembly
- It's a bit of a fiddle but I used a screwdriver to twist and lift the 2 grey tabs on the sole plate over the square lugs which form part of the clear plastic brush housing. It can only be done one tab at a time and you need to watch when doing the second one that the first one doesn't just pop back on.

The centre of this Soleplate looks like it is attached by the square plastic loops on the upper surface. Try to carefully prise this off using a flat blunt blade like a paint scraper or screwdriver.
