eSpares Washing Machine and Dishwasher Cleaner

(Limescale & Detergent Remover) - 6 Descaler Sachets

Protects your machine from limescale & detergents
Removes bad odours & harmful bacteria build-up
6-month supply - boosts performance, saves money...

Protect your dishwasher and washing machine from harmful build-up with eSpares Limescale & Detergent Remover. If you have a smelly washing machine, a smelly dishwasher - or your appliance just isn't performing as well as it should be - it could be due to a build-up of limescale and detergent. This descaler will cleanse your machine, removing limescale, detergent and grease build-up and restore them to their top working condition.

A cost-effective way to prolong the life of your appliance and reduce your energy bills

Specification:

  • 6 Months supply
  • Box contains 6x 50g sachets
  • Suitable for use in all makes and models

Please Note: Not suitable for top loading appliances.

Hard water leads to deposits building up in your appliance, which reduces its efficiency and leads to premature failure. In fact, British Water say that even a 1.6mm coating of limescale on a heating element can make it up to 12% less effective.

All types of water can cause a build-up of detergent residue inside your machine, which can lead to blockages. This build-up provides an environment for bacteria to thrive causing unpleasant odours.

Benefits

By simply using one cleaner sachet per month your machine will benefit from the following:

  • Hygienically cleans all internal parts
  • Removes limescale build-up from internal parts
  • Eliminates powder build-up and odour-causing bacteria
  • Maximises the efficiency of your appliance
  • If used immediately with new appliances, reduces the detergent quantity by up to a third
  • Note: A typical hot wash cycle will cost around 25 pence depending on tariff.

    Please sort your packaging!

eSpares always provide a great service and great products; however I am disappointed that on my recent purchase of eSpares Washing Machine & Dishwasher Cleaner & Descaler, the level of packaging has increased to include a plastic tray in the cardboard box to hold the sachets. It isn’t needed, it wasn’t there before and personally I won’t be buying anymore until the plastic packaging has been removed.

Re Stanley's question on dirty dishes: There can be many reasons why a dishwasher may have poor results, search our advice centre for more information as it is unlikely to be a 'fault' on the machine.

  • We have same problem with Bosch dishwasher. Have used Bosch descaler and cleaner regularly but still does not fully clean all dishes which we do not overload. Is it time to call out a Bosch engineer, which is costly? By Stanley - Maldon Essex - 25 October 2017
  • Parminder from eSpares

The fault is usually caused by blockages or excess food residue built up in the spray arm holes. Other causes may be overloading dishes or a clogged filter or pump.

The active ingredient in one sachet of cleaner is only 5 grammes of Sulphamic acid per treatment around 60 grammes per year. A very small amount that would be extremely diluted but you should check advise from your sewage contractor if in doubt.

The type is like a normal front loader but with a lifting lid and a door in the drum, not a twin tub.

It is possible (but in our opinion unlikely) that using this product could increase the chance of the appliance leaking so it has this warning. This would apply to most if not all other descaling remedies.

This will work in a soft water area and remove the limescale and detergent build up inside the machine.

Answer this question

I've used the Cleaner on at least 4 occasions recently and its still leaving mucky bits on my clothes. What's more worrying is that its now started leaving black bits that look like oily marks on my clothes, which I cannot remove. Im now scared to use my machine - is there anything else you can suggest? Please Help?

oil marks on clothes would suggest the bearings are failing, we have a video that would help you to diagnose if this is the issue www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaFF2-Rl8Nc&t just copy and paste into your browser.
