My pump runs when I apply power to it. It is very rough with lots of play in the impeller. I'm getting 5E alarms. When I put the machine to drain it doesn't drain. But appears to occasionally pump on spin cycle. 1 Answer

Error code 5E means the machine has detected an issue with the machine draining the water out, check the filter and drain hose and make sure the plumbing is not blocked.
Is it possible to have slight water leak at the drain pump,after machine is drained

Hi I have just orderd a replacement pump for my Samsung WFB1456 washer. I now cant now remember which way round the two connectors are fitted. one wire is blue and the other one is black with an additional white wire connected to same terminal. please tell me which is neutral, or confirm that it does not matter which way round they are fitted

The motor is supplied by AC and will only rotate in one direction so reversing the connections will not effect it's operation.
