The bottom blade that should spin and eject the water is not working. Water is hot and the top one works ok. Does not appear to be blocked. its as though the cold water is fed into the machine and heated and then sent to the top spinning blade only. Any ideas ? Machine is about 6years old.

You can start a wash cycle and open the door when running to check. There may be a little splash from the arms but the machine will not pour water out as it will stop as the door opens. The problem is likely to be the lower arm or a blockage as there is no valve on this machine.
