I have removed the front panel inside the freezer section to reveal the fan itself, removed the fan from where it is situated and the wires then go behind a secondary panel to where it is connected I presume. This is the panel I am having trouble removing, any advice is welcome thanks.

If you have removed the evaporator cover then the inner cover has two screws either side of the fan that need to be removed and then use a flat blade or screwdriver to carefully pull the four tabs around the cover in to allow removal of the inner cover.
