the generic pump is £70 cheaper

    I'd always recommend the genuine part over a universal as you do take somewhat of a risk in purchasing universal......But with that said a lot of universal parts can work just as well. Over to you :)

  • You'll need a Torx screwdriver and a large pair of pliers. Drain, unplug and disconnect water supply and drain pipes. Tip machine onto right hand side, Remove front bottom panel, then one screw will release the pump. Disconnect the wire and with the pliers release the clips on the two pipes. Fit these to the new pump and refit. Tip machine back up, reconnect pipes plug in and switch on. By mikecsail - High Peak - 25 August 2010
