the problem i have with my neff dishwasher S5453X1GB/74 is that the side arms will not rotate as the diverter that switches between the 2 sidebars is sticking. can you confirm that this diverter is inegral to this heating element, thanks 1 Answer

In the first two pictures you can see the diverters outputs at the top and bottom of the images. On the third image you can see the diverter motor is the black assembly.

Tricky to fit 17 December 2013
Unless you know what you are doing, this could take hours! I am a competent mechanical fitter, but struggled with the door spring mechanism until I found the easy way. Also took a while to work out that the side panels only come away if the lid is knocked firmly backwards. With everything connected and turned on I found the water refused to fill. Luckily I had met that problem before (the anti-flood device), so having tilted the machine right back and reset, success!
