I have a hotpoint aquarius fdf784g.r which no longer recirculates water. On removing the pump and splitting the motor away from the heater assembly I then extracted the impeller to find that the cylindrical magnet behind the impeller has 3 cracks along its length. Before I commit to a new dishwasher pump I would like to know if this is the likely cause of my problem.
