Dishwasher Drain Pump
The purpose of the drain pump in your dishwasher is to push water out the bottom of the dishwasher into a drain hose that connects to your kitchen sink. If your dishwasher lets in water but doesn't distribute it and spray it onto your dishes to clean them, there is likely to be a problem with the drain pump.
Use this replacement pump to ensure that your dishwasher's water runs through the spray arms to efficiently reach your dishes, before being drained from the interior of the machine.

Check if the water is clean or dirty as it may be caused by back filling from the plumbing, test the water valve to determine if it’s letting in water when off before testing the pressure system. Is there another pump fitted to this D/W as the unit drains well but the pressure at the rotors is poor so the dishes are not very clean 1 Answer

The wash pump is Stock Number: ES567547. Check the spray arms rotate freely and are not blocked or catching before suspecting this for the problem.
Hi, I have a Zanussi DE6744S which fills up with water and then heats it and cleans the dishes but towards the end of the cycle it will stop and the lights will flash when I open it I find it full of water, so I take the machine out to the garden (Full) and then put the Drain pipe to the floor and it will drain all the water out, my question is "Do I need a new Drain pump"?
