Hi, Can you confirm that this part is to attach to the lip at the front of the drum, to stop the metal of the drum rubbing on the frame of the machine?

This is the seal for the back cabinet plate to the drum. It sounds like you require the self adhesive felt for the front. This is available with Stock Number: ES546701. This kit covers most of the commonly wearing parts for your machine.
