The engineer tells me that the Magnetron and the 'Module' for my HMT8655GB/02 microwave oven need changing.

The module is situated beneath the Magnetron. I see that there is a Power module, a Relay module, and an Operating module. Am I correct in assuming that it is the Power Module that needs to be replaced? The oven was working when it suddenly went dead and blew the fuse at the main fuse box. It has not worked since. I replaced the internal 10Amp fuse but again this fuse and the one at the main fuse box immediately blew on switching on the oven.

We are sorry but do not advise on repairs in this area as this is very close to the high voltage connections to the magnetron and accidental contact can easily prove fatal.
