Hi washer dryer fails to heat up (intermittant fault)

Hi my HNWL7136 washer dryer fails to heat up on the drying cycle. the only way i can get it working is to press the buttons on top of the two thermostats as they seem to be stuck up, could these be faulty ? after resetting the machine works fine for a few loads then i have to remove the top and reset again ? Any ideas i want to purchase the right parts. thanks Dave, safety stat looks ok

  • Hi there! It's for sure that your Termostat is broken/faulty. If you need to press down the tiny button on top of the termostat, it is not working properly anymore. But if you replace it with a new one, your dryer will heat again. This is a typical fault for Washer/Dryer machines. By Showrig - Norway - 19 March 2011
