My dryer dial works but the heater elements don't heat up. They have been tested on a meter and continuenty is there. There is no live going to it and they advise it is the switch that will be the cause. If this correct before I order?

We would suggest not to test live as this is highly dangerous, you would need to test the rest of the dryer circuit to determine which components have failed.
