If the fuse has blown could the root cause be some expensive part?

Model KOG-6L65, a Daewoo model bought in France but the fuse assembly exactly matches the electrical rating and physical appearance of the one in your parts list. Can I presume this will be OK and is it likely to be only the fuse which has blown. The oven was not used for about 5 months while we lived downstairs because of my wife's hip replacement. Thanks.

The fuse is likely to have failed due to a short rectifier diode. We do not recommend anyone carries out repairs around the high voltage section as accidental contact can easily be fatal. For this reason unless you have previous Micro wave training we would urge you not to attempt a repair.
