How do I change a grill element?

Moffat MSS 600B

Answer this Question (1 Answer)

  • It's easy. If necessary go online to find the manual for the cooker to find out how to disassemble it. TURN OFF THE POWER at the isolator and the fuseboard for your safety. Locate the electrical connections to the grill (the four spades at the bottom of the picture) and take a photo (and check it's clear) to ensure you can get it back together properly. Pull off the electrical connectors, unscrew the nuts and out it pops. Refitting is the reverse of removal. Remember the safety and the picture and you'll be fine.
