I have a ctd40p hotpoint my review is on this page dated 2012 gazchip, it would seam the stat has gone again ! so soon? Condensing filter was abit blocked but thats it. I remeber the machine only worked when i changed only one not both, that normal?

If you allow the machine to run up to full heat after a few minutes and stop it before allowing it to run through the cool down cycle it will cause the thermal trip to fail. Always allow it to run through the cool down cycle before stopping. Make sure the air ways and filters are clear to prevent overheating.
