Do I need filters with my Bosch DKE635BGB
I have a Bosch cooker hood (model DKE635BGB) which has 2 rectangular metal grease filters. They don't seem to be filtering anything - water/condensation dripping out! When I remove them there are no filters fitted just the part (ES548354). Do you need to have filters fitted (currently it doesn't have any), or do you have to clean the filters (if so what recommended way?). If none of the above, it seems a lot of money (£41) for a replacement - only 3yrs old.

- I see your question is dated 2010 but quite simply my wife puts the filter in the dishwasher and they lasted about 5 years before replacing them and 'yes' they are expensive but unfortunately necessary
