Hotpoint DY46X double oven; fan does not turn straight away, sometimes requires a nudge to get it turning; even when it does turn the main oven does not always get to the temperature as set by the control knob.
Do I need to replace the fan and motor, and thermostat ? Oven ser no. 903165511

The fan motor is the cause of your problem. Replace it with an original motor unless you are sure you can fit a compatible part.
