Does this element require specialist fitting or is it just a push fit?

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • Only have to take rear cover from oven, pull off four electric cables which are spade clips and remove four screws. Element then pulls out from inside front of oven. Reverse operation to fit new grill. 10 minute job which any average DIY person should be able to do. Don't forget to isolate electric supply before starting work!!!!!! Hi Jose, Generally these elements are very easy to fit, you'll need to push it into the holes and then screw into place. I've not fit this element in particular however looking at the picture this is how it looks to work. Please make sure that you have disconnected your cooker from the electricity prior to attempting any repairs and if you ever feel uncertain of what you're doing call a repair man in. However, in saying that this should be a fairly simple repair.
