Dishwasher not circulating water

I have changed the inlet solenoid valve as I thought it wasn't filling, but there is water getting into the washer as the machine automatically goes into a drain cycle and there is water being emptied each time, but no water being distributed in the machine. Is the pump the only possibility now or is there something else, before I purchase one

A common problem with Bosch dishwashers is due to grease build up in the hose that 'feeds' the sump when filling. If this gets partially blocked the water will lift a float on the chamber at the side to indicate a over level problem and turn on the pump to empty. Remove the hose from the float chamber to the base (simply pulls out) and clear of any build up before retrying.
