WHERE DOES IT FIT?

I have a HOTPOINT CTD00P tumble drier and the drum does not spin unless I give it a helping hand! The belt is tight etc and I can't figure out what is wrong. Maybe it's this drive pin. But where does it go? I can't see it.

  • On my Aquarius model, if you take off the plastic cover (marked with steaming hot symbol!) on the back, you'll see the end of the drum shaft. On this, there's a collar and the pin goes through the end of the drum shaft, secured by the collar. By Mattanorak - - 31 March 2013

Hi David270200 The drive pin is a small part (only a few centimetres long) and fits in to the back of the dryer by the bearing and the thermostat.
