Indesit D63 UK Dishwasher Circulation Pump

Hi, I have an Indesit Dishwasher that just buzzes when the circulation pump should be running. It is not worth my cost to replace the circulation motor but wondered if you could advise me, is it worth replacing the capacitor before condeming my dishwaser to the scrap heap. When I say worth, I mean in terms of cost, risk and effort. You advice would be appreciated.

It is certainly worth examining for signs of blistering or damage on the capacitor and checking for a short circuit. It may be the motor has seized due to a foreign object jamming in it.
