Is this connected to the outer button

Is this the on off switch that connects to the button on the outside as mine won't stay on and I was wondering if this would solve my problem

Hi, this switch is connected to the magnetic door interlock of the washing machine rather than to any external buttons; it will only turn on when the door is locked. To find parts for your machine, search its model number in the bar at the top of the page to listed all available.
