Can you tell me is it easy to fit

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • I can confirm that it is very easy to refit the part. Hamza has already provided clear instructions, but there is an excellent short video available on a very well know site (I don't think I'll be able to name it), which gives a clear step by step guide. Simply search for 'how to replace main body of Dyson V8'. By The Fulwell - Sunderland - 04 December 2019

    Hamza at eSpares says...

To replace the body, first ensure it is unplugged. Lift the red bin base release catch to open the bin base. Press the red cyclone release catch to release the cyclone and remove from the main body. Press the red bin release catch and remove the bin from the main body. The main body is secured to the battery with 3 Philips screws, 2 are in the underside of the battery & 3rd in the rear of the handle. Remove the main body from the battery and then remove the post filter. To refit, reverse the above instructions.
