My tumble dryer is working but not drying. On the display is showing 9 min left to the end of the cycle but continue to spin an hours later.

If the dryer is not heating then it is likely to be the element, if it has reached 9 mins which is the cool down it will have turned the element off. Most dryers will have an anti-crease function which continues to turn the drum after it has finished the program to stop the clothes from creasing.
