Help, My DC35 keeps cutting out it only stays on a few seconds then cuts out if you re start it comes back on but the more you do it the less it stays on. Also the brush head stops going around too, is this the battery or the motor that needs replacing??

    If you look at the battery you will see it is a 22 volt unit. It is easy to check with a cheap multi meter if this holds a charge. If the voltage across the connections does not remain at around 22 volts or there is no voltage then the battery is faulty. We would expect the motor to run if above 20 volts.
