The water freezes in the pipe before it enters the freezer so no ice is made. is this the right part to solve the problem?

If we warm up the tiny pipe on the back of the fridge freezer then the water flows into the ice box again and it works again. So we think there must be an electrical trace that is malfunctioning. Is this the right part?

Check with a meter for a resistance of between 200 and 1000 ohms? If there is a similar resistance the heater should be OK and the problem could be due to a control board fault.
