- I just bought and replaced this. You take the bottom off the motor unit via the four screws. It'll come away, don't pull too hard as it's attached by wires. You will see a fan with a bolt in the center. Put it on it's side, hold the bolt with a spanner and clamp a set of mole grips onto the drive coupling. Either loosen via the mole grips or spanner, turning one way will loosen the bolt, the other the drive coupling. Once it's off just screw the new one on and put the bottom back together.
