will this remove marks made by pans
although very careful with pans, have found that the bottom of pans have created a black ring around the ceramic edges that I cannot remove. Have applied the correct hob cleaner but the dark edges remain

We do not think this is suitable as the marking may be due to interaction between the metal of the base and the surface of the hob. You may find a different type of pan will not cause the problem.
