is there such a thing as a safe measurement between gas rings and the bottom of a microwave mounted on a wall

Recently bought a new fridge and it is a good deal larger than the old one,where the microwave used to be. Now I am stuck for a space for the microwave. Thought of buying wall brackets to place over the gas hob 550mm above the hob. Any thoughts on this would be great . Thank you

    Rising heat steam and grease are all likely to cause damage to a microwave so for this reason we would advise fitting direct above a cooker.
