Any tips on how to fit this flap to freezer in use? Daren't apply too much pressure to insert toggles into holders in case they snap off!!

  • Thanks DEM for replying. We did exactly the same in assuming all 4 had to be inserted but then realised only the bottom 2 needed to be positioned then the others connected when the flap folded up! Luckily for us we didn't break ours and it fits absolutely perfectly! By HCW - - 09 May 2019
  • Hello HCW I had the same problem! Then I realised you don't have to insert all four of the toggles at the same time, just the bottom two (one on each side) then gently push the door up into place and the top two toggles slip into place to close the door. Not before I'd cracked the flap with previous attempts! By DEM - - 09 May 2019

The hinge sockets can usually be unscrewed from one side to allow the flap to be fitted and twisted into position.
