How do I remove the spray arm from my original basket in order to fix it to the replacement?

The spray arm and pipe will normally clip in place and have a plastic 'barb' that prevents it from coming off. It may be easier to use a large flat bladed screwdriver to open the barbs and allow the pipe to be removed.
