The drain pump appears to drain all the waste water ok but when the m/c is opened later to reload there is water back in the bottom of the m/c. Do'es this mean water falling is back from the drain pump.

The dishwasher a BEKO DWD4311W m/c. I have checked the inlet connection hose to see if the tap is leaking water when the m/c is not in use and this seems to be ok. Any ideas please.

The main reason for the dishwasher to fill when not in use is the valve has failed, if it is dirty water it is backfilling through the drain hose.
