Jammed cable reel on a Sebo Airbelt K1.
Hi: I've dismantled the reel and the hollow axle of the reel appears to be broken internally and easily comes apart from the back plate. I've tried re-assembling it and it still seems to work – though the reel alignment is a bit sloppy (which may be why it jammed in the first place). Please can you kindly advise if the reel axle is intended to split like this? I don't want to re-assemble it only for it to jam again, and am happy to replace it if it's really broken.

If the axle has broken it will need to be replaced as the cable rewind comes complete and not designed to be repaired.
