Bulb and fan question

Hi, the bulbs in my Whirlpool extractor hood have blown one at a time - I could not see how to extract them though - I've tried twisting, pulling etc - could you advise? Also, when the second bulb went, the fan suddenly stopped working - any ideas what I need to do or replace? Thanks, Chris

Hi nogoodwithelectricstuff, the bulbs are most likely screw fit - they may just be a bit tight. If they're really not coming out after a bit of welly, look at the housing in which the bulb sits. Are there any screws holding it in place? If there are, remove them and maybe that will help in getting the bulbs out. With regard to the fan not working either - it sounds as if the fuse has blown. Replace the fuse in the plug and you should be all good. Best of luck.
